Realistic artist with the perception of abstract poetry and symbolism.
Igor Navrotskyi was born in 1971 in Nitra, Slovakia. Between 1992-1998 he studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kiev. Here he became acquainted with the artist Tatiana Siedlova, who still belongs to those rare classical art pairs, which are able to inspire and constantly develop in their artistic work. His artistic works combine tradition and modernity.
Invited by old masters such as Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Goya, Repin and Kramskoi. Like old masters, Igor works with multiple layers of color, creating a unique impression of depth, transparency and plasticity. This classic approach requires a high degree of sensitivity, skill and patience. This is why it is unique on the contemporary European art scene. We can classify him as a realistic artist with the perception of abstract poetry and symbolism. The main themes of his paintings are allegorical scenes, stylized portraits, acts, still life and animals. They often lack funny ideas and humor.
His works are in public and private collections in Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the USA and Australia. He is a member of the Association of Fine Artists of Ukraine and Slovakia.
